This privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect, how I use it, and what choices you have.

We built the WikiNias app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

If you choose to use the Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in  relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.  

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible in our website, unless otherwise  defined in this Privacy Policy.


Information Collection and Use  

The app does not collect any information about the users. It is only a bookmark app to nia.wikipedia.org site, owned by Wikimedia Foundation. However users can sign up and log in to nia.wikipedia.org site independently of the app. In this case the nia.wikipedia.org sites can keep user's email, if a user wish to provide it (for example for password reset purposes). 

To delete user's email address from nia.wikipedia.org site, log in on the nia.wikipedia.org, open your user Preferences > Email options > Change or remove email address > Log out

For example if you are working on Nias Wikipedia, the steps are:

1. Go to https://nia.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-personal

2. Scroll to Email options

3. Click on the button Change or remove email address

4. Delete your email address

5. Save and then Log out.


Cookies  

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your devices’s internal memory.  

This Services does not uses these “cookies” explicitly. However, the in-app browser of app may use cookies that keep a record whether you are or not logged in to nia.wikipedia.org. This app is only a bookmark app to nia.wikipedia.org site. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, when you first visit nia.wikipedia.org website. You can still use the app without accepting cookies and it will work just fine.

In case you had accepted cookies, you can always empty them by deleting the cookies in the Android's System Settings > Apps > wikipedianias > Storage & Cache > Clear storage


Location Information  

This app does not collect any location information.  


Device Information  

The app does not collect information from your device.

We don't employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate, provide, perform the Service.  


Security  

We don't collect any information about you, your location and your device, therefore there is no security risk related with using this app.  


Children’s Privacy  

This Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.  


Changes to This Privacy Policy  

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.

Perubahan terbaru

 Setelah sekian lama, akhirnya aplikasi WikiNias mendapat pembaharuan. Berikut fitur-fitur yang baru serta pembaharuan lainnya yang tidak nampak di mata, namun sangat penting bagi aplikasi. Satu hal yang menonjol adalah kecepatan. Kini aplikasi WikiNias memuat halaman lebih cepat . Bilah atas aplikasi Fitur terbaru (di bilah atas aplikasi) Menambah tombol pintas ke Halaman Utama/Olayama dengan mengklik judul WikiNias (no.1) Menambahkan tombol penyuntingan di browser eksternal (no.2) ( Bulö'ö ba wuka gu'ö ) (sangat bermanfaat bila mengedit dengan menggunakan  keyboard ,  mouse  dan  monitor  eksternal) Menambahkan tombol bagikan ke media sosial (no.3) ( Fa'ohe'ö ) Menambahkan tombol Stelan (no.4), yang sebelumnya di bilah bawah aplikasi.
